Sunil to the left and Jobby (pronounced Joby) have been working tirelessly on the project from the first feasibility study in November to the purchase of the telephone box and the school bags in January 2008.

The selected students have to maintain a pass mark of at least 60% for their school work in order to qualify for another year's sponsorship. That ensures attendance and encourages them to get the best out of their education and they may also have their sponsorship extended to courses after school.

The parents are struggling to feed their children properly, but the school provides them with a midday meal.
